Tilting filter dryer – SteriFilt/RFD
Nutsche type pressure filters are extensively used to separate solids from liquids with the added benefit of removing impurities.
When drying is also required or the transfer of wet cakes to a dryer can impact product quality or when it is potentially hazardous to operating personnel, we provide filter dryers that combine pressure filtration and vacuum drying in one unit.
A filter dryer can process a concentrated slurry and discharge a dry powder.
The tilting filter dryer combines the traditional benefits of our filter dryers with added advantages:
- Automated and complete product discharge, even under strict containment conditions
- Dust filter not required
- Improved and reliable cleanability

It is specifically designed for processing highly potent active pharmaceutical ingredients (HPAPIs) used in sterile products.

As an alternative, we offer our traditional filter dryer extensively used in different industries from biochemicals to waste recovery.
