G2208 SIGMA glass lining
As a recognized leader in the market thanks to our significant expertise with developing glass linings, today we are able to offer the four different types of linings listed below:
G2208 SIGMA glass lining
SIGMA glass is a composite glass matrix enamel where a conductive phase, acting as an electronic carrier, permits a suitable charge transfer inside the glassy dielectric coating. SIGMA glass lining, thanks to the presence of this conductive phase, combines superior electroconductivity with the excellent corrosion resistance of glass. The result is a coating with 5 orders of magnitude of resistivity lower than that of the standard G2208 enamel. SIGMA glass lining is particularly suitable for chemical and pharmaceutical applications, where electrostatic charges have to be avoided, such as with flammable liquids.
